The Infrastructure Support and Development (ISD) Division promotes private investment in infrastructure, manages PPP-related schemes like VGF and IIPDF, and oversees initiatives like the National Infrastructure Pipeline and Monetisation Pipeline. It also handles energy policy matters and provides technical and financial support for PPPs across sectors.
The International Economic Relations (IER) Division manages India’s financial and economic relations with global institutions and forums like G20, BRICS, SAARC, ASEAN, and more. It handles international cooperation, finance track meetings, and regional partnerships to enhance India’s global economic integration.
The Investment and Digital Economy Division handles policies and proposals related to FDI, ODI, fintech, trade, and investment treaties. It also oversees schemes like the Gold Monetisation Scheme, NIIF, and SWAMIH Fund to boost domestic and foreign investments.
The Integrated Finance Division (IFD) advises on financial matters, manages DEA’s budget, and oversees grants, audit compliance, and financial approvals. It also handles the preparation and parliamentary laying of the Detailed Demand for Grants and Output Outcome Monitoring Framework.
The OMI Division manages India’s engagement with major multilateral development banks like AIIB, NDB, and IFAD. It oversees project coordination, governance, and promotes Indian participation in MDB-funded initiatives.
The Chief Controller of Accounts manages over 80% of the Government of India's expenditure, including debt and interest payments. It also oversees fund transfers, financial reporting, audits, and implements the Public Financial Management System (PFMS).
Vigilance Section deals with vigilance matters of officials of D/o Economic Affairs, Board members of SEBI and SPMCIL and IES officers.
