Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)

A statutory body established under the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (SEBI Act) to protect the interest of investors in securities and to promote the development of and to regulate the securities market formatters connected therewith.

Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT)

A statutory body established under the provisions of Section 15K of the SEBI Act, 1992 to dispose of appeals against orders passed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India or by an adjudicating officer under the Act; and to exercise jurisdiction, powers and authority conferred on the Tribunal by or under this Act or any other law for the time being in force.

International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA)

A statutory body established under the IFSCA Act, 2019 as a unified regulator for development and regulation of financial markets in the IFSCs in India.

Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd. (SPMCIL)

A Mini Ratna Category-I, Schedule-'A' Central Public Sector Enterprise incorporated in 2006 under Companies Act, 1956 to manage four India Government Mints, two Currency Presses, two Security Presses and one Security Paper Mill.

National Savings Institute (NSI)

An attached office, set up in 1948, with the task to mobilize the savings into National Savings Schemes of the Government of India, operated through post offices and branches of authorized banks throughout the country.

National Investment and Infrastructure Fund Trustee Ltd. (NIIFTL)

National Investment and Infrastructure Fund Trustee Ltd. (NIIFTL), a 100% Govt. Company, is the Trustee of NIIF and monitors the functioning of the funds. NIIF Funds are managed on a day-to-day basis by NIIF Limited, a company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 and regulated by SEBI as a fund manager of the four SEBI-registered AIFs in NIIF. NIIFL, the investment manager has GOI equity of 49% at present. Government of India has made a commitment of Rs. ~20,000 crore across four funds established under umbrella of NIIF.

2	Aid, Accounts & Audit Division	Controller of Aid Accounts & Audit (CAA&A) is the designated authority to withdraw funds from Loans/Grants committed by the external agencies. Scrutinizing claims received from the Project Implementing Agencies as to their eligibility as per relevant Credit/Loan/Grant agreement and project agreement and submitting the same to the donor for obtaining disbursement. Recommending to Plan Finance Division in the Department of Expenditure for release of Additional Central Assistance to the States. Framing the budget estimates of Receipts and Repayments under both relevant Capital and Revenue heads for external aid. Timely discharge of Debt Service payments to all the donors and for maintaining Loan Account for each Loan/Credit Agreement. Maintaining comprehensive external debt data base relating to sovereign debt from all multilateral and bilateral donors including debt contracted by parastatals guaranteed by Government. Audit of Import licenses issued to registered exporters for export promotion by 26 Licensing Offices under the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. Preparation of periodical statement of Accounts which is incorporated in the Union Finance Accounts of the Government of India, and for laying down accounting procedures for the account of transactions under various external loan/grant agreements.
3	Asian Development Bank Division	Matters pertaining to Asian Development Bank. Detailed examination of all policy papers circulated by Asian Development Bank for discussion by the Board of Directors of the ADB. Matters concerning Inter American Bank (lAB), South Asia Sub-Regional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) program, and related meetings. Arranging payments of India's share of Capital increase, TASF and Maintenance of Value (MOV) etc. to ADB. Engagement with external lenders from the stage of identification / approval of projects in the Screening Committee.
4	Bilateral Co-operation & Sustainable Finance Division	Policy relating to Bilateral cooperation. Bilateral cooperation (ODA and Technical cooperation) with various countries. Economic & Financial/Policy Dialogues with multiple countries. Matters relating to Indian Development and Economic Assistance Scheme (IDEAS). Dealing with proposals submitted by various Ministries/Departments. Short-term foreign training courses under Technical Assistance Programme. Matters relating to UNDP, GEF & GCF. Sustainable Finance including IPSF. Paris Club and G20 matters.
5	Budget Division	All matters relating to Budgeting of Central Government, UTs and States under Presidential Rule. Matters relating to the Accounting of Government Transactions. Administration of Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Act (FRBM), 2003. Matters relating to National Saving Institute and Small Saving Schemes. Administration of the C&AG (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971. Monitoring the fiscal deficit of Government. Administration of Government Securities Act, 2006. Nirbhaya Fund.
6	Coin & Currency Division And CBDC & Crypto Asset	Policy formulation on all matters related to coins and currency. Matters relating to supply of coins to RBI. Matters relating to Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL). Matters relating to demonetization and related Acts. Fair price determination of Bank Notes and Postal Stamps. 9	Financial Sector Reforms & Legislation Division	Examination of the Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission (FSLRC) Report. To initiate policy and legislative proposals in tune with the recommendations of the FSLRC. To engage stakeholders during the preparation of legislative and policy proposals. 10	Finance stability & Cyber Security Division	Aid & support in dealing with issues included in the mandate of the Financial Stability & Development Council. Coordination with the Financial Stability Board on global financial sector regulatory reforms. Matters related to cyber security issues.
